Visiting Someone at Hendry County Jail

Visits use GettingOut, the jail's video and scheduling vendor. People can visit from home through the website or app, or come to the Visitation Center across the street from the jail. Every visitor registers with GettingOut first, and staff cannot retrieve a forgotten password. Juveniles must come with an adult, bags and phones stay in the vehicle, and clothing cannot be revealing. Mail, Phone, and Money at Hendry County Jail

Money orders can be mailed to the jail, made out to the jail with the inmate's name in the memo line. Cash or card deposits can be made at kiosks in the jail lobby in LaBelle, at the Visitation Center, and at the Clewiston substation lobby, or by phone to GTL and online at gettingout.com. Phone service runs through GTL, and money added to a phone account cannot move back to commissary. Friends can also send approved packages through a county package vendor.

Commissary orders go in on Monday and Thursday and are delivered Tuesday and Friday, with none on national holidays.

Booking and Intake at Hendry County Jail

Intake begins when an arresting agency brings a person to the jail. Staff identify the person, inventory property, run a security screening, complete the booking paperwork, and take a booking photo. Fingerprints are part of normal criminal booking.
